In order to provide service to all of your customers, your business has to comply with the guidelines laid out by the Americans with Disabilities Act. Following these guidelines is about more than just compliance, it shows your customers that you care about the safety and accessibility of everyone who visits your property. At NVM Paving and Concrete, we can make sure that your company meets all these requirements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Customers with disabilities usually need to use a ramp to enter your building. At the top and bottom of the ramp, you need to have a landing. If your ramp has many sections, you also need a landing between each one. This landing has to have enough space for people to maneuver a wheelchair or a walker. The ADA recommends that you make these landings 60 by 60 inches. This gives people the space they need to turn onto new sections of the ramp.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
