Resurfacing reinforces the structure of your parking lot by adding a new layer of asphalt. It could add between one and two inches on top of your current pavement. First, we would repair any cracks or potholes in the pavement and then, a new layer of asphalt is added. While this doesn\u2019t have to be done yearly, you should consider it once every few years. A pressurized water system can remove chemicals, salts, and other material. Also, power washing can uncover cracks in the pavement so that you can have them sealed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2><strong>Apply Seal-Coating to the Asphalt<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>If you want to preserve your asphalt, seal coating is one of the best steps that you can take. In this method, we apply a sealant to the asphalt. The sealant blocks the asphalt&#8217;s pores so that chemicals, salt, gas, water, and oil cannot penetrate the surface of the parking lot.
